"Neutral or Fight?"
World War I was a bloody and terrible war, but I believe that the introduction of the United States of America was necessary to the war. Without the introduction of the United States of America, the war might have raged on longer, and caused many more causalities. I personally believe that the war would have been unnecessary if the war was fought over Uncontrolled Submarine Warfare primarily. The fact is that one of the major reasons was the killing of so many innocent people in enemy countries. When German invaded the neutral country of Belgium and slaughtered thousands of innocent people and deported others to Germany to work in their factories is not only a violation of war but also inhumane. The United States had no other option to go to war, especially when so many people are getting killed over nothing. Standing around and doing nothing makes a country just as guilty as the countries that are committing the horrible atrocities of war. The United States of America had no other choice to join the war effort in World War I.
